Mayheux Violins was founded by Daniel james a prominant Brisbane luthier looking for the right mix of quality, innovation whilst respecting the historical authenticity of these wonderful instruments.
His family Mayheux, originally from France progressively found its way to Australia through the united kingdom.
The Mayheux line of violins have been developed in conjunction with a family run workshop in China. They feature European timbers (where they matter), skilled craftsmenship from China together with local customisation and setup for the Australian climate.
